What is the Allistar Lint Brush?

The Allistar Lint Brush is a reusable fabric brush with a self‑cleaning base that quickly removes lint, pet hair, and dust from clothing, furniture, and other fabrics.

Instead of sticky tape, it uses a special micro‑bristle surface that grabs hair and lint as you swipe. When you slide the brush into the base and pull it out, the base cleans the brush for you.

How are the other Allistar models different?

In addition to the Sky Blue Kit, we offer three other Allistar models (Snow Peak White, Midnight Blue, and Forest Green) designed to be:

• More lightweight
• Easy to maneuver for quick touch‑ups
• Comfortable to use for longer cleaning sessions

Functionally, all models work the same way and deliver the same cleaning performance. The differences are mainly in weight, feel in the hand, and style.

How does the self‑cleaning base work?

The inside of the base is lined with micro‑bristles. When you insert the brush fully into the base and pull it out:

1. The base grabs the lint and pet hair off the brush
2. The brush comes out clean and ready to use again
3. Hair and lint stay collected in the bottom of the base until you empty it

No water, no tape, no refills.

What can I use the Allistar Lint Brush on?

It’s safe for most fabric surfaces, including:

• Clothing: shirts, pants, dresses, coats, suits
• Furniture: sofas, armchairs, cushions
• Bedding: blankets, duvets, pillows, sheets
• Car seats and upholstery
• Curtains and fabric bags

All Allistar lint brushes are safe for even delicate fabrics. However, if in doubt, test on a small hidden area first. 

Is it good for pet hair?

Yes. Allistar is ideal for pet owners. It effectively removes:

• Dog and cat hair from clothes
• Pet hair from sofas, blankets, and beds
• Hair and fur from car seats and travel carriers

The travel‑size brush in the Sky Blue Kit is especially handy for quick clean‑ups after vet visits, dog parks, or car rides. 

How do I use the Allistar Lint Brush?

1. Hold the handle and find the black or gold arrow indicator on the brush.
2. Brush in one direction (following the arrow), using smooth, even strokes.
3. When the brush surface is covered in hair or lint, insert it fully into the base.
4. Pull it out – the brush will be clean.
5. Repeat as needed.
6. Empty the base once it’s full by removing bottom cap

For best results, avoid scrubbing back and forth. Stick to one consistent brushing direction.

How do I empty and clean the base?

1. Open the bottom or back compartment of the base.
2. Remove the collected lint and hair and discard it.
3. If needed, wipe the inside with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry completely.
4. Do not submerge the base in water.

Emptying regularly keeps the brush working at its best.

Do I need to buy refills?

No. Allistar Lint Brushes are fully reusable.

• No adhesive sheets
• No refill rolls
• Nothing extra to buy – just empty the base when it’s full

Can I wash the brush?

Occasional light cleaning is fine but usually not necessary.

If needed:

• Wipe the brush surface gently with a damp cloth in the same direction as the bristles
• Do not soak or submerge the brush
• Allow it to air‑dry completely before using again

Regular use with the self‑cleaning base is normally enough to keep it clean.

How long will my Allistar Lint Brush last?

With normal home use and proper care, your Allistar brush should last for years. To extend its life:

• Avoid bending the brush
• Don’t use excessive force when brushing
• Keep it away from high heat (radiators, dryers, direct heaters)
• Store it inside the base when not in use

Is it travel‑friendly?

Yes.

• The Sky Blue Kit includes a dedicated travel‑size brush that fits easily in bags, backpacks, cars, and carry‑ons.
• Our lighter full‑size models are also easy to pack for longer trips or to keep at the office.

Is it safe for all fabrics and colors?

Allistar uses no glue, adhesive, or chemicals, so it’s safe for most fabrics and colors. We recommend:

How do I store my Allistar Lint Brush?

How do I know when to replace my Allistar Lint Brush?
